Hi, I’m Monet Ontiveros, RN, BSN,
Founder of NUDE Med Spa in Newport Beach
I began my career as an ER night shift nurse. Working in emergency medicine shaped me in ways I carry into aesthetics every single day.
But for me, aesthetics was always the dream.
Since I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to work as an injector. After years in the ER, I transitioned into aesthetics and worked in established med spas to refine my technique, deepen my knowledge, and truly understand the industry.
Along the way, I realized I didn’t want to work under someone else’s schedule. I didn’t want appointments to feel rushed or transactional. I knew I could make patients feel at home and truly cared for if I just had the freedom to give them the time, attention, and intention they deserved.
My love for my community runs deep. Being born and raised in Santa Ana, staying close to home was important to me. I wanted to build something elevated and beautiful while still being approachable and accessible to the people who grew up like me. Hardworking. Ambitious. Pouring into everyone else and finally ready to pour into themselves.
I took a leap of faith, and with God’s grace, I opened NUDE Med Spa.
Now, I’m creating a space that feels personal, warm, and intentional. As a mom and business owner, I understand how much people pour into everyone else. My goal has always been to build an environment where you can walk in as you are. No pressure. No judgment. I want everyone to leave feeling elevated, confident, and completely themselves.
My typical client isn’t chasing perfection.

They want to feel refreshed, aligned, and like themselves again.

Welcome to NUDE
Dr. Monica Kieu is a double board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon with seven years of private practice experience, specializing in both surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic procedures. With residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work. Her surgical specialties include rhinoplasty, facelifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, and reconstructive surgeries such as cleft lip and palate repair. On the nonsurgical side, Dr. Kieu excels in advanced injectable treatments, skin resurfacing, body contouring, and minimally invasive techniques that prioritize natural and balanced results.
For the past five years, Dr. Kieu has been a clinical instructor for Empire Medical Training, providing hands-on and didactic training on neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PRP, Kybella, and hair restoration. She has overseen NPs, PAs, and RNs in her Beverly Hills and Newport Beach practices, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Dr. Kieu is dedicated to contributing to the aesthetic community through education and leadership while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction
